Knowing what to do

There are several ways that personal responsibility could be defined. The way I would describe personal responsibility is taking action or punishment for something that has been done that might have been wrong. Also I would describe it as not putting the blame on another person or even relying on a person to do something that he or she said they would do for another person. An example or a situation that shows taking personal responsibility is simply doing the dishes after eating dinner or what ever meal that has been ate. When being a teenager or almost one, the child should be able to take care of their own dishes. By rinsing of the dish and putting it in the dishwasher or simply whereever it goes. Without taking personal responsibility for the action taken the plates could possibly turn moldy if nothing gets done. Knowing whether or not to take some responsibility in the situation mainly can be told by what the situation is. In the example given the teenage child would take responsibility if the dishes became moldy because with growing up and becoming an adult the child should not have to still rely on the parent to clean up after them with everything they do. If the child does not learn when growing up they never will when older. This however will also take responsibility on the parent because it is their job to teach and punish the child if he or she does not do what they have been asked to do.

A new adventure.

Some might ask what are ways in which people thoughout the ages have explored the unknown. Well there are millions of answers for this question. One could answer Christopher Columbus. Someone lse might even answer Ablert Einstein. Christopher Columbus in the 15th century was a man who went out to find new discoveries such as continents and oceans.  As for Albert, the man who discoverd how to make a lightbulb, he lead us all to where we are today with technology.
Such individuals devoted themselves to a life of discovery and exploration mainly for one reason, to help others. They knew that what they were doing would take much devotion but in the end it would be worth it all. Even still today we have many people who are trying to find cures for diseases and much more. This is not to just benifit themselves but they are trying to make the world a better place for us all to live in together.
The sacrifices due to their devotion involves several things. For one, a major sacrifice is spending time with family and loved ones. Being out in the ocean or even in a lab all night could cause them to loose the connection that they use to have with those members. Some other scienties or discoverers on the other hand could of possibly given up their own life to help find a new discovery that one has not found yet. One they all have in common to what they have sacrificed is
sleep and time for themselves. With being how devoted they all were, they do not have time to be selfish and go spoil themsleves. All that what these important people did though was worth it in the long run.
